Made exclusively for John Lewis in France from solid French oak, this TV stand with two shelves forms part of a rustically styled collection with a distressed finish to create an impression of age and use. It can accommodate up to a 42 inch television.The timber is selected for its natural characteristics and given time to dry and age, so no two pieces will be exactly alike in colour or grain. The Vanille finish is achieved by using a white stain, a cellulose lacquer and finally transparent wax, applied by hand, to give a fresh country look.To maintain its natural lustre and counteract the drying effect of central heating, simply apply a natural beeswax a couple of times a year.
