The new heavyweight bandsaw from record power has been designed with the help of industry to re-define this area of the bandsaw market. Capable of serious work, the maximum cutting height is over 11” and the machine can take up to a 1-1/4” blade, powered by a 2hp motor for deep ripping the table is a large, heavy casting for stability and longevity and the rip fence is a heavy extrusion mounted on a cast bed and rigid steel bar. Likewise the toolpost for the upper blade guides is made from steel and movement is adjusted on a rack and pinion the blade guides are large and easy to adjust, the whole machine has a solid, robust feel to it.
